Research Task 3:
As a class, we researched 6 logos from film companies and analysed the aspects of them. We also had to suggest why they are interesting and how they conform to institutional codes and conventions, which are:
What image/s are prioritised in the logo?
What connotations do the images carry?
What are other features such as letters, typography, fonts, style, and other techniques which help convey meaning.
What is the institutional relationship with particular genres?
I then combined all the information together about the different 6 logos, which are:
Universal Studios
Pixar
Disney
Warner Brothers
Metro Goldwyn-Mayer
Paramount
There were two sections involved in this task, firstly we presented the information of all the logos together.
Then from the research we gathered about logo design, we chose logos we want to take inspiration from when it comes around to forming groups to create a film, which includes creating a logo.

PART 2:
The second part of the task was to explain logos I want to change/adapt to include as inspiration in my own group's logo.
These logos are:
DreamWorks
Blumhouse Productions
