Opening credits are the names of the cast and crew, producers, studios, etc. that are displayed on-screen. These can be superimposed over an opening scene, over a black screen, or over a still background.
We are planning on having our credits displayed during our establishing shots, and then to flow into the story. We want to keep it simple, and follow traditional thriller films aspects, like an elegant, white, font.
The order be will as follows:
Starring - Eva Pleciak
Filmed and edited by - Matthew Somervaille
Colour and sound - Asher Ballantyne
Script written by - Oscar Neville- White

Our inspiration happens to be one of the films from my research task 4 #4 analysis.
Inspiration:
Panic Room is a 2002 thriller film directed by David Fincher. The story revolves around a recently divorced women named Meg (played by Jodie Foster). Meg and her daughter (played by Kristen Stewart) move into a luxurious New York penthouse, which features a panic room. However this room becomes useful when three burglars break into their house on their first night.

Visual Style: Panic Room’s opening effectively uses Fincher’s notable style, by including the type of typography and narrative features. It features a visually striking and innovative design that captures the audience's attention.
Atmosphere Setting: The design effectively sets the tone and atmosphere for the film. The tense and suspenseful reflect the mood of the movie, foreshadowing the intense nature of the plot.
Emotional Impact: The design has the potential to evoke strong emotional responses from the audience. The combination of visuals, typography, and sound can create a sense of unease and anticipation, enhancing the viewer's engagement with the film.
We want to do something similar, in our opening. The opening should match our story, and set the audience up for the rest of the film.
